About The Captain
Captain Jeffrey P. Canha is a 4th generation Martha's Vineyard fisherman. Capt. Canha knows the waters of Martha's Vineyard, knows the grazing and feeding habits of our Atlantic game fish. His local knowledge of specific times and places for catching fish is excellent. Captain Canha will show you how to catch the fish with fun and safety.
The Fishing Grounds
Martha's Vineyard offers the best fishing New England has to offer. Inshore species include Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, False Albacore, Scup, Sea Bass , and Fluke (Summer Flounder). Offshore species include Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna, Sharks ( Mako, Blue, Thresher, and the occasional Tiger), Swordfish, Marlin, and Mahi Mahi.
